Extraction Guide

What the 33-day objective means and how to read the current raid exit.

Fast answer

The larger premise is surviving until evacuation after 33 days, while individual raids have their own objectives and exits. Do not confuse the campaign-level extraction date with the trigger that finishes a single mission. Follow the current on-screen objective.

Two different uses of extraction

The official description sets the stranded squad’s rescue 33 days away. The playable loop includes separate raids: entering dangerous zones at night, looting and returning to base. These are related but not identical exit mechanics.

  1. For a raid, read its active mission tracker and available exit interaction.
  2. For campaign progression, track your base, roster and time in the current version.
  3. Do not use an unverified coordinate from a different procedural run.

Why an exit might not work

Demo footage includes questions about defeating a portion of opponents before escaping and doors that can close. Procedural layouts make universal static maps especially risky. Check live objective text and remaining action before deciding the game is broken.

  1. Verify whether the mission objective is complete.
  2. Look for exit/interact prompts that appear only after completion.
  3. Check whether the path behind you has become inaccessible.
  4. If the rules differ from a demo video, prefer the live build.

Plan a profitable return

Extraction becomes easier to prioritize when you know why you entered the raid. Secure one needed material or progression objective, then avoid extra fights that put a valuable survivor at risk.

  1. Name the necessary loot before launching.
  2. Carry a sustainable loadout and protect your surviving fighter.
  3. Retreat as soon as the game permits and the objective is met.
